Commotion Show I am your host Christy
This show is about Sharing Creativity
and Causing a Commotion for Creative
and Worthy Causes.
I will be talking about Children and Children’s Charities there is no
better time to cover these causes then at Christmas time.

Johnny Depp Fans For Charity is a meaningful
way for Depp fans to honor an actor whose talent
and humanity have inspired so many.
They have three basic goals:
To raise funds for Children’s Hospice and Palliative
Care Coalition, a charity Johnny Depp has supported for years.
To help families in need find out more about children’s
hospice options in their local area.
To raise public awareness of the needs of sick children
and their families.
My friend Christine runs the charity and just recieved an
award for all she does from her state so Congrats Christine
and Major Props to you. I have always supported her and the
charity It is an awesome organization. Johnny Depp knows of
the charity and has always given them props for all they do.
St, Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
is to advance cures, and means of prevention,
for pediatric catastrophic diseases through
research and treatment. Consistent with
the vision of our founder Danny Thomas,
no child is denied treatment based on race,
religion or a family’s ability to pay.
I arranged an online auction for them at one time.
If I had one Christmas wish it would be a Cure for Cancer.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)
is to create, find and support programs that directly
improve the health and well being of children.
Their mission is Focusing on the critical needs of children.
Celebrating the diversity of the programs we offer
and the staff, volunteers and donors who make them possible.
Staying true to our heritage of more than 36 years of
responsible stewardship.
Operating with accountability and transparency.
This charity is special to me because when my daughter
had open heart surgery at 7 months old to repair a hole in her heart
they supported me, gave me a place to stay and made sure
I took care of myself because I was an emotional train wreck. I never
felt so helpless as what I did those 3 days. I was never so
thankful when it was over and never so thankful for this charity.
Toys for Tots

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve
Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped
toys during October, November and December each year,
and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy
children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through
a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate
youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible,
productive, patriotic citizens.
The Poems I Read:
Love
Love cannot see because it has no eyes
Love cannot hear because it has no ears
Love speaks in many ways that you cannot hear
Love holds the key to happiness and sorrow
Love gives without expecting more
Love can heal a wounded heart and
Love can tear you apart.
Love can make the sun shine on the rainiest day
Love can’t be Love Till Given Away.
Love can make you stronger and
Love can make you weap.
But Love Always Plays for Keeps.
Love Touches Your Soul But is so Hard to Control
Love May Not Always Seek
But You Will Always Feel It’s Warmth Brushing YOur Cheek.
Love Makes the World Go Around
But Yet Never Utters a Sound.
Love is Patient and Kind but Hard to Find
When You Say I Love You Remember This Much is True
Love Isn’t Meant to Be Figured Out
Love is meant to be Given Out.

A Child’s Love
A Child’s Love knows no bounds
It completely surrounds like a
warm blanket on a cold winter’s night
Love has no limit in their sight
Unconditional and forever true
No matter what you do.
If we could love like a child
how much better would things be
Only to see the way they see.
Imagination full of wonder
Strong and wide like the sound of thunder
A Child’s Love Can not be measured
It should forever be treasured.
Their hearts are pure and free
Yet some cannot see.
How precious is a Child’s Love to me
Words cannot say what it means to me.
Children are our future, our hope,
our joy, our everything
What a Child’s Love Can Bring.
When I look into their eyes the Love
I see makes me wanna cry
because it brings so much peace and
hope to me How could anyone not see?
How precious they are.
We must cherish our children while
they are young they grow up so fast
It never lasts. Before you know it
they are grown and you wonder where
the time went. I hope it was spent
nuturing them and teaching them
what they need to know as they grow.
Children are our hope but if they
have one lesson to teach us maybe
it should be one of love and trust
as they show us everyday in everyway.
We can learn alot from a Child’s Love
I am hoping we can if we keep our hearts open.

Remember Our Children are a miracle of life the reason
for living and what makes life worth living. Their
innocence and wonder does not last long. Encourage
them to Reach for the Stars and Let them Enjoy their
childhood while they can because it disappears so fast.
Our Children Our Our Future They are depending on you
to show them the way to Be All They Can Be. Cherish Them.
Also remember your local animal shelters this season
perhaps you can help with supplies or with finding a pet
a wonderful new home.
